Lesson Plan:
Calm
- Belly Breathing – with Hoberman Sphere: 10 breaths – Feel your feet connected to the floor; Lengthen through your spine and allow your shoulders to move away from your ears. Compliment counter and breather.
Activate
- Mountain – Feel strong
- Roots – Connect to the earth, find center
- Tree – Feel feet push into earth; arms expand up, balance – Trade sides
- Foreword fold – Release
- Social Emotional Activity – Strong conversation – Who/ what keeps you strong
- Tree – strong, stable, open, grows (nutrients), opening up
Calm
- Relaxation
- Child’s Pose – breathing, 6 breaths
- Twist – turn to right; up
