Props/Music Resources required: CD, CD player, rope lights, Hoberman Sphere, mindful moment card

Welcoming: Ground rules

Calm

  • Belly Breathing – with breathing ball – Group member volunteer
  • Compliments
  • Breathing and thinking about a community image using a mindful moment card

Activate

  • Name toss – eye contact – getting to know community members
  • Sun salutation flow – using breathing, expansion, and activation
  • Trust walk – “surprise guide” from the group – Sometimes we find that we have “surprise guides” in life/community. Who are people that have helped guide us that we didn’t expect
  • Partner pull – eye contact, feel your partner and yourself equally balancing the stretch
  • Twist – Back to mats and twists on back

Calm

  • Sharing about “surprise guides” in our own lives/community
  • Relaxation – Pumpkin patch – addresses accepting all community members
