Calm
- Chime – ring chime, ask students to give me a thumbs up when they don’t hear the chime anymore .
- Student Chime – have a student ring chime and rest of students give thumbs up when they can’t hear it anymore .
- Compliments – students give person ringing chime 3 compliments.
- Belly Breathing – with Hobberman Sphere – While sitting, students will put their hands on their bellies, breathe into their belly so their hands go up and down with break like waves in the ocean . Student Leader with Hobberman . Compliments.
Activate
- Child’s Pose – kneel on floor, arms long.
- Cat/Cow – meow, moo .
- Roots – sway back and forth.
- Mountain – activate.
- Activate/Relax Walk – activate in mountain, walk around room relaxed, and then activate into pose, then walk in a way that is activated and relaxed (describe activate vs. relax).
- Child’s Pose – kneel on floor, arms long.
- Star – arms out to side, legs out, activate.
- Warrior 1 – stand with legs hip-width, place knee on floor, lift hands .
- Warrior 2 – Stand with legs wide apart, turn left foot in to the right, lift arms, bend right knee.
- Switch Sides – Star, Warrior 1, Warrior 2 .
- Child’s Pose – kneel, arms out.
Calm
- Belly Breathing while I read calming story.
