Props/Music Resources required: Music & ipod dock, Mat 20 poster, Classroom Set of Mats, Hoberman sphere
Lesson Plan:
Calm
- Intro – Today we are training in yoga like Jedi who find their strength by being calm when they train
- Belly Breathing – with Hoberman sphere (student led)
Activate
- Mat 20 – (student led) Compliments for student leader
- Bow Pose – after plank held for 30 seconds for a strength challenge
- Chair – for 30 seconds – Feel the strength in your body when you hold poses. Stand in poses like warriors.
Calm
- Strong Voice Activity
- Tree Pose – let your strong voice help you stay balanced
