Intro Remarks: Being strong means many things. We can be physically strong, mentally strong, and emotionally strong. Pay close attention to activating muscles.

Warm up:

  • Standing Belly Breath
  • Pulse Count
  • Arm Swings
  • Woodchopper

Mat Sequence 20: Pay close attention to Plank, Cobra, Chair

Community: Tree challenge – strong trees, strong roots, strong forest

Transition: Volcano Breaths

Warrior: Isolate this pose from the sequence. Activate muscles. Think of someone that is strong for you. Think of someone you want to be strong for. Share.

Warrior II (if time)

Back to mats:

  • Rock n’ Roll (strong!)
  • Bridge

Relaxation: “Tour” of body – strong muscles, strong heart, strong mind
