Lesson Plan:
Calm
- Chime – listen to the chime until it ends, how long can you listen, be strong, be in control
- Belly Breathing – with Hoberman Sphere: 10 breaths
- King Images – handed out, sit strong like a King
Activate
- Mountain Pose – tall and strong, like a King before his people
- Tree Pose – strength of balance, of mind, as you focus on the King image
- Roots – align your feet, feel them firmly in the ground, imagine the strength of roots of your tree in the ground, strong and upright through an angry storm
- Chair Flow – from mountain to mountain, building strength, feeling strong and in control
- Warrior I – shoot strength out your fingertips to the walls, hold control of your arms, your legs, your patience
- Woodchopper – a way to release your strong emotions without getting into trouble!
- Archetype Game – taking turns being King
Calm
- Stacked Hands on desk – feet still on the floor for 30 – practice being strong in stillness
- Progressive Muscle Relaxation – strong muscles, calm muscles, you control your muscles
- One Minute Exploration – on being in the jungle, the King of the forest, walking still and strong through the land
