  • Tree Circle – Students support one another in the circle, first in stillness and then as a quiet breeze moves the branches of the tree.

Calm

  • Calm Voice – While quiet music is played students lie on their back practicing belly breathing to help ground them and turn their awareness inside. The students will listen to the statements read aloud from page 107 in the YC manual. Once they have visualized their answers they will complete the worksheet in silence at their desks. Students will then share their answers with the class.

Practicing a Calm/Peaceful Voice – The students will sit in a circle and take turns reading a page from The Quiet Book, using their calm voices as they read.
