Lesson Plan:
Calm
- Belly Breathing
Activate
- Child’s Pose
- Table Top – plant your hands so you are grounded through all your fingers
- Cat/Cow
- Alternate Arm/Leg Lifts – stay grounded in your one hand and one knee
- Downward Dog – let’s prepare for dolphin by starting in down dog…see how your body should be? Let’s just change it a bit by clasping your hands together and resting your elbows on your mat
- Dolphin
- Child’s Pose – sometimes poses can be a bit tough, so we’re going to return to child’s pose to be able to return to our breath
Calm
- Back Breathing
- Relaxation – Read a mindful moments card “Picture a large old tree with big branches. Sit with your back against the tree and watch the things around you.”
